Overview
GPX to Zwift is designed with privacy as a default. We collect the minimum data necessary to operate the service and do not use cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party advertising networks.
Your GPX Files
GPX files you upload are processed entirely in your browser. They are never transmitted to our servers, stored remotely, or shared with any third party. Your ride data stays on your device.
Analytics (Umami)
We use Umami for privacy-friendly analytics. Umami is:
- Cookieless — no cookies are set on your device
- Anonymous — no personally identifiable information (PII) is collected
- GDPR compliant by design
- Limited to aggregate pageview counts and referrer data
No cross-site tracking occurs. Data is used solely to understand which features are most useful.
Feedback (Formspree)
If you submit feedback using the feedback form, your message is sent to and temporarily stored by Formspree. Only the text you type is transmitted — no metadata, no device identifiers, and no email address is required. Formspree's own privacy policy applies to data they receive.
Hosting (Vercel)
The site is hosted on Vercel. Vercel's infrastructure logs standard HTTP request metadata (IP address, user agent, timestamp) as part of normal hosting operations. These logs are retained per Vercel's standard retention policy and are not accessible to us in identifiable form.
Cookies
We do not set any cookies. Your theme preference (light/dark mode) is stored in localStorage, which never leaves your browser.
Third-Party Ad Networks
We do not use any advertising networks, retargeting pixels, or social media tracking buttons. No data is shared with advertisers.
